Recently we got a chance to sit down with Daniel Lewis, Sales Manager associated with Century 21 M&M Berkeley. We asked him about why he got into real estate, and his plans for the Berkeley office.
Daniel says he chose real estate due to the entrepreneurial side of it, he loves the freedom of running his own business. At one point he had a cubicle job in Workers Comp Insurance and now loves the chance to get out of the office and meet people face-to-face.
Any unique ideas for marketing and recruiting?
Daniel wants to put together a recruiting video to post on Facebook and share on Craigslist. He will have agents do testimonials so that people he is trying to recruit can see the people and see the office and feel more comfortable coming in.
What are your plans for motivating the agents?
The first thing Lewis plans to do is help his agents with is listing presentations. He is going to use the 21online and the iAgent materials, but he wants to infuse some dialogue, talk about objections and help his agents get some confidence for listing presentations.
How do you plan to increase Century 21 M&M’s market share in the Berkeley area?
Farming and marketing around the office. We have no presence close to the office, we don’t get the yard signs and the attention we should in our area, so Daniel wants to focus on the areas close by.
What is your main focus for the Berkeley office?
Everybody needs to go get a listing. Our goal, month one, is to get all of the current Buyers agents to convert to a Listing age, so Lewis wants all of his agents to go out on 1 or 2 listing presentations per month.
