The City of Stockton Community Services Department presents the annual series in partnership with the Stockton Musician’s Association. The FREE summer concerts are held in conjunction with the Music Industry Music Performance Trust, Stockton Musician’s Association, and co-sponsored by various businesses and community organizations. Oakdale – Thursday, June 10, 2010 – Farmer’s Market

New produce vendors this year include Windy Hill Farms of Waterford and Hickman Chicks. A number of community groups will once again have displays, and other businesses will also have booths with their goods. Another first time offering will include artists displaying their work at the market. And entertainment will be featured each week.

Lodi – Thursday, June 10, 2010 – Farmer’s Market

Downtown Lodi – School Street – Time: 5 p.m. The Downtown Certified Farmers Market is the family friendly market held every Thursday evening beginning in June throughout the end of September. Over 25 certified farmers offer an array of fresh produce, wine and flowers. 50 homemade and commercial arts and craft vendors line the streets of downtown attracting over 5,000 attendees each week. An upscale beer and wine garden which showcases local breweries and wineries is located adjacent from the entertainment stage.

Dixon – Thursday, June 10, 2010 – Farmers Market

Farmers Markets in Northern CaliforniaCelebrate the Bounty! The Downtown Dixon Business Association with the help of the City of Dixon brings the Pacific Coast Certified Organic Farmer’s Market to downtown every Thursday starting Thursday, May 20 through mid-September 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Women’s Improvement Club Park next to the Dixon Public Library on the corner of North First and East C Streets.

Beach Boys, Graffiti Summer Concert, Northern CaliforniaCelebrating Modesto’s “Graffiti Summer,” it’s a spectacular show full of music from the heyday of 1960’s surf rock. The 2010 American Graffiti Car show and festival will again be held on the weekend prior to Father’s Day. The parade will be downtown Friday evening at 7 pm and the car show will be at MJC WEST Campus. The Car show is Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 9 am – 3 pm, featuring the Ford Motor Company display. The Art Walk is held on the 2nd Friday from June to August. It is a self-guided tour (pick up a free guide with map at participating venues) featuring art work in every medium; from photography to sculpture, and from fine art to live music and spoken word. All demonstrations and exhibits are free of charge. The Tidewater Art Gallery and San Joaquin Law Library host their monthly Meet the Artist Receptions featuring guest and resident artists as well as live music. Downtown Art Walk is FREE to attend and there is no commission fee for art sold at the event.
