With only 13 more days until Thanksgiving and the weather getting cold, the Century 21 M & M real estate agents and staff have stepped up their efforts. As of today we now have over 500 Coats for Kids.
Kathleen Borbon, of the Century 21 M & M Real Estate Stockton office, says that at Galt High School, the students in her daughter’s English and Drama classes are collecting coats. They are hoping to win the $1,000 drawing in order to go on a field trip.
Dana Howell says, the three offices he manages for Century 21 M & M Real Estate; Merced, Los Banos, and Livingston have collected over 100 coats.
Linda Green, manager of the Dixon office turned to her Soroptimist club and got a commitment from all 40 members to contribute coats (one a piece) when they get together for their Pot Luck Day.
Elaine Davy, Human Resources manager for Century 21 M & M Real Estate has so far brought in 19 Coats for Kids and she is planning on bringing in more. Can anyone out there beat that number?
Jerilyn Von Flue, manager of the Century 21 M & M Real Estate Madera office, sent out a press release to the Madera Tribune. As a result, the Madera Tribune came to the office, took pictures and is publishing a story either this Saturday or Sunday.
Also, Jerilyn states that her Madera agents have facebook’d their Friends not only promoting the Coats for Kids drive, but also offering to pick up the coats and deliver them to the office, thereby making it easy for their Friends to donate.
As of today, the Century 21 M & M Real Estate office in Madera is leading the coat count of more than 76 coats. Wow…sounds like a challenge!
John Melo, CEO, and Larry Matos, President, put themselves in front of the News 10 camera on the ‘Sacramento & Co.’ show today, Friday, November 13, 2009 at 9:00am. They did a great job of getting the word out to the public that they can drop off their coats at any one of our twenty real estate offices; Clovis, Dixon, Escalon, Fairfield, Green Valley, Livingston, Lodi, Los Banos, Madera, Manteca, Merced, Modesto, Oakdale, Patterson, Rio Vista, Stockton, Tracy, Turlock, Vacaville and West Sacramento.
As of today, Century 21 M & M Real Estate has 35 more days to collect Coats for Kids. If you can’t find a coat in your closet and money is tight, consider visiting a local thrift store such as; the Salvation Army, the Goodwill, and the Hope Chest. For a few bucks (under $5.00) you can pick up a child-size coat and help keep a kid warm this winter.
